A super typhoon will hit the country this weekend. It is getting stronger as it is approaching the Philippine Area of Responsibility. The people lives in the area where typhoon is expected to land fall are advised to evacuate their home. They are advised to stay in the higher area for possible storm surge. The first storm surge experienced was a year ago where super typhoon Yolanda hits the Visayas areas. It was the worse experience ever because thousands of lives is taken, homes are crashed and other properties has been destroyed.
It has been a year since super typhoon Yolanda damaged the Visayas areas particularly in Tacloban, Leyte, Samar and closest provinces. The people haven’t covered fully of Yolanda’s devastation and now another super typhoon will be hit again this weekend. Another trial for them to face and overcome. I do hope that this super typhoon Ruby (International name Hagupit) will not leave severe damage like Yolanda did. People are more aware now and ready for this super typhoon Ruby and for the possible storm surge. We will be praying for your safety and praying that this typhoon will slowly land fall and will spare you all. God bless everyone and be safe!
