Happy to see them again

One thing that I look forward to every time I went on a vacation at my parents province is to meet my cousins there.  I seldom see them because we live far from each other.  I do not have enough time to talk to them and have simple bonding.  I am so excited when my father told me that we are going to the province.  He needs to visit his mother and father’s grave and all his departed love ones.  This is the perfect time to spend time with my cousins there.  The vacation was more fun because some of my cousins that are living in Manila (Luzon) is on vacation too.

My nine (9) days vacation was so fun.  The cousins and I had more time to talk.  We went to the plaza together the see the fiesta activities.  I was not able to go with them when they go to the disco because of my two nephews.  Well, I am not into that for now.  I am too old to go the disco house.haha!  Anyways, I so happy to see them again after four years.  Too bad I have to go back home first because the brother has to back to work.  Hope we can do more bonding in the future.  And hope to have long vacation too.

Feels good to take a break

I mentioned in my past posts that I need to take a break sometimes from doing the things I do at home.  I feel the need to unwind, keep myself away from doing household chores and babysitting for 2-3 days to regain my strength.  In short, I need some time off and take a rest, pamper myself, get more sleep and relax without nothing to worry about.  Again, I am not complaining of my life because I like it, just that sometimes we need to take a break to breath some air because sometimes doing the same things over and over again is suffocating.  We all need to rest, sleep and take a break because we deserved it.

Anyways, when my sister invited me to go with them at the province of him in-laws, I say yes right away.  This is the perfect time that I have been waiting for.  Life at the province is relaxing, with all the trees, flowers, and quiet ambiance is refreshing.  Though it is not my first time for I went with them to two years ago, and I enjoyed my stay.  I am able to relax and get more sleep.  And I missed doing it.  Thanks to my sister for inviting me.  I spent my holy week at the province last week.  I get more sleep and have regain my strength.  I am back to reality now, and started doing household chores again.  I am refresh and will embrace life’s challenges.  Bring it on!

Feeding the chicken

PhotobucketLife in the province is very simple.  They started the day feeding the animals like chicken, pig, dogs, goat, cao, carabao and many others.  They also watering their plants.  After that have their breakfast and then getting themselves ready to go to the farm.  This is the kind of life that the people in the province do.  It is their daily routine.  If you are to look at it, it is kinda boring especially if you used to live in the  city.  I have experienced this life back when I was ten years old when the father decided to leave us in the province while he is working in the far away city.  It is very tiring but in the long run we get to appreciate the kind of lifestyle they have.

It has been a long time since the last time we visited the province of my parents.  Fortunately,we did have our summer vacation at the province for a week.  I get to see once again the simple life the people lives there has.  One afternoon when my aunt is feeding the chicken, my niece Ella is eager to do it.  She asked my aunt if she could help.  I think she is curious of how to do it.  See the photo of Ella feeding the chicken one afternoon at the province.

The Rain

I was in the province three days ago having my short vacation with my sister.  The place is perfect for relaxation because it is so quiet.  While we are on our way, I thought of meeting a friend and visit the famous crocodile in the place, but was not able to go because of heavy rains.  I am the kind of person that does not want to go if there is rain unless it is really important.

While inside the house where we stay, I am looking at the window and looking at the rain pouring down from the nipa hut roof.  It is so nice to see because it makes the ambiance quiet that makes me want to sleep the whole day.  Before I go to bed to take a nap, I capture a photo of the rain in the province.
